Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Authorization Agreement and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) Authorization Agreement

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Effective January 1, 2018, all providers participating in PrimeWest Health’s network will be required to be enrolled in and able to accept electronic funds transfers (EFT) from PrimeWest Health.

EFT is a convenient, confidential, and secure method for receiving claim payments. With this free paperless service provided by PrimeWest Health, funds are transferred directly into a participating provider’s designated bank account. With EFT, your organization has access to the following benefits:

  • Reduction of the amount of paper in the office
  • Valuable time savings for staff and avoidance of hassles associated with going to the bank to deposit a check
  • Elimination of the risk of paper checks being lost or stolen in the mail
  • Faster access to funds—many banks credit direct deposits faster than paper checks
  • Easier reconciliation of payments with bank statements

Please review the instructions and complete the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Authorization Agreement.

Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)

Electronic remittance advice (ERA) allows providers to receive remittance for PrimeWest Health medical claims electronically. This eliminates the need to mail paper remittance for your payments. To register to receive your remittance electronically, please review the instructions and complete the Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) Authorization Agreement.
