Non-Retaliation and Non-Retribution for Reporting
PrimeWest Health is committed to maintaining a culture that promotes the prevention, detection, and resolution of instances of conduct that do not conform to laws, regulations, policies and procedures, or the Code of Conduct. All PrimeWest Health Joint Powers Board (JPB) members; employees; first-tier, downstream, or related entities (FDRs); or other contractors or agents (as appropriate under applicable law) are required to promptly report any actual or potential violation of Federal or State law or regulation or PrimeWest Health policy or procedure.
It is PrimeWest Health’s policy to comply with all applicable laws that protect individuals against unlawful discrimination or retaliation by PrimeWest Health as a result of a lawful report of noncompliance. We understand that PrimeWest Health JPB members, employees, FDRs, and other contractors and agents may not report concerns if they feel they will be subject to retaliation, retribution, or harassment for reporting the concern. Therefore, a non-retaliation/non-retribution policy has been established by PrimeWest Health to reassure individuals who wish to report concerns through the Compliance department.
PrimeWest Health JPB members, employees, FDRs, and other contractors and agents are not permitted to engage in retaliation, retribution, or any form of harassment against an individual who reports a compliance concern. Anyone who is involved in any act of retaliation or retribution against someone who has reported suspected misconduct in good faith will be subject to disciplinary action.
